This image was not taken from Sunrise Observatory, but from a dark location on the Somerset Levels. Telescope was a Skywatcher 80mm ED refractor on an EQ5 mount. No guiding was used for the 60 second exposures - you can get away with it at only 600mm focal length, short exposures, and good polar alignment. The IDAS light pollution filter has done its job well and maintained good colour balance. Star spikes were added in post processing.
